Junk Mail Burning Ritual

Objective:

To remove clutter, create a protective barrier to guard you in everyday life, release negative energy surrounding you, create an inner environment where prosperity and a threefold (body, mind, spirit) healthy being will thrive.

You need:

Fireplace or fire-safe container

Some junk mail

Paper & pencil

An envelope

Red yarn

Scissors

A white tea light candle for each participant

Green felt

Green candle

Green glitter

Silver glitter

Green stone

Orange thread

Sewing needle

Five pennies for each participant

Bell

Mortars and pestle

Candles for the elements; red, green, blue, yellow, white

Smudging bowl (censer) & coal

Herbs: sage, cinnamon, allspice, mint, almonds, orange peel, basil, lavender, thyme

Clean & cleanse the space

Gather all you will need

Smudge participants with sage using the feather  & smudging bowl (censor)

Start the fire with the junk mail feel the energy building, as the fire strengthens.

Craft this spell in the fire.

Craft it well weave it higher.

Weave it now of shining flame.

None sham come to harm or maim.

None shall pass this fiery wall.

None shall pass. NO! None at all!

To remove the negativity that can build over a particularly stressful time.

Gather the red yarn, scissors, paper, pencil, envelope, and white candle.

1. Take your measure (head to toe) with the red yarn.
2. Write the things that are worrying you on the paper and place it in the envelope, seal it.
3. Wrap it with the red yarn.
4. Light the white candle
5. Say: "cleanse me of all negativity, Mother Earth & Father Sky. Allow me to go forward in truth and Joy.
6. Burn the "Junk Mail"(the paper & envelope).

To create an inner environment for prosperity and health to grow and bloom.

Gather the green candle, green felt, scissors, orange thread, sewing needle, green glitter, silver glitter, almonds, cinnamon, sage, allspice, orange peel, basil, lavender, thyme, mint.

 

1. Light the green candle. Say: prosperity and health come alive and grow, pour upon me from high and low.
2. Cut a strip of felt 6 inches long and 3 inches wide.
3. Fold it in half so it is three by three.
4. With the orange thread sew the sides and leave to top open.
5. Place the herbs into the mortar & grind with the pestle.
6. Place the almond, the green stone, a pinch of green glitter, a pinch of silver glitter, 5 pennies, 3 pinches of the herb blend. Say: by herb, and stone, and coin. Let prosperity and health and I now join.
7. Rub some of the herb blend in your hands and toss it into the fire. Say: paper money and coins that shine, come to me for you are mine. Health any happiness don't stand in line, come to me for you are mine.
8. Sew the remaining edge. Say: All you give, my being will hold. Come on now! Be bright and bold! So Mote it be.
